James Elmore has worked in the Theatre for over twenty-five years, beginning as an actor, including the roles of Samuel Sutler in "Rebel Women," Benjamin in "Finding the Sun" (written and directed by Edward Albee), various characters for The Paper Bag Players 1996-1997 Season (“Unquestionably the leading U.S. Theatre Company for kids,”~ People Magazine) and Dr. Michael Madd at the Jekyll & Hyde Club in New York.

James enjoys collaboration. For the community opera "Condemned," produced several times in Vancouver, British Columbia, he contributed as a librettist. He adapted Khalil Gibran’s "The Prophet" for the stage, thanks in part to the Khalil Gibran Committee and is currently adapting Rainer Maria Rilke’s "Letters to a Young Poet" as a one-man show. His poems have been published online, in the eXpressions Journal and performed at the Nuyorican Poet’s Café. James has covered the Los Angeles art scene professionally, promoting art and artists on www.championic.com and articles on the arts and aesthetics here on Hub Pages. He is a graduate of the California State University of Fullerton, B.A. and the University of Arizona, Tucson, M.F.A. Theatre Arts Programs.

His preferred creative environment is around the campfire with other sweet-natured loons.
